Genesis Private Equity Fund III, a fund from the private equity group Genesis Capital, exited its majority stake in GTH Catering to the Company’s other current shareholders, concluding a successful investment partnership spanning over more than fifteen years. During this period, GTH Catering has grown into the largest provider of corporate catering services in the Czech Republic.
GTH Catering provides comprehensive corporate catering solutions. In addition to operating staff restaurants, the Company offers vending and supplementary retail services, as well as the design and modernization of dining facilities, including technological solutions and equipment. Its customers include the major industrial companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. GTH Catering also provides services to healthcare institutions and schools. In 2025, the Company’s revenues in the Czech Republic reached CZK 2.4 billion.
Genesis Capital’s investment story in GTH Catering began in 2010 with the acquisition of the Company from its founder and the merger of GTH Catering with MULTI-Catering activities under the leadership of CEO Daria Choděrová and CFO Tomáš Hubka. This was followed by a period of strong growth in the Czech market driven by the gradual acquisition of new customers. In 2020, GTH Catering expanded into Slovakia through the acquisition of the Slovak operations of the multinational provider Sodexo, establishing its presence in both Slovak corporate catering and facility management service markets. In 2024, the Company secured the largest corporate catering contract in the Czech Republic, and became the leading player in the Czech corporate catering market.
